The SpotBugs plugin 6.4.1 was compiled with Kotlin 2.2.0, while this project uses Gradle 8.14.3 with Kotlin 2.0.21. This caused a metadata version incompatibility error during compilation. The issue was resolved by adding the
-Xskip-metadata-version-check
