When adding other custom components, I found it useful to reuse the transition function to keep the animation definition consistent in my project.
This PR simply exports the transition function as a public and adds some basic documentation for it. You can merge it if you also find it useful.
I have generated the files in dist/ , let me know if you want me to regenerate them or not.
