This is an issue created to propose a blog post around supporting 1B RPS on Valkey Cluster.

What is your proposed topic?
This blog post will talk briefly about cluster design and changes done in Valkey to support 2000 nodes in a single cluster which can support 1B RPS read/write throughput.

wow. I like it but we should align on what our metric unit is - we've used RPS/QPS and now TPS?

I think folks have pushed us to use RPS.

Very cool. We move in powers of 1000. Last year 1M, now 1B, next 1T? :)

Agree, lets say RPS. I've found historic evidence of "requests per second" in the output of valkey-benchmark.
