Streaming example doesn't work in example app

Description

Tried out the new streaming support, it doesn't seem to work on either a simulator or on-device (iOS).

Steps to reproduce

1. Run the example app
2. Go to Streaming example
3. Start streaming

I've cloned repo from the scratch and on my side everything seems to be working just fine. Can you provide maybe some more insight what is exactly going on, maybe some logs are visible?

Unfortunately no logs are produced, and no errors are visible. When I click the "Start streaming" button, it's as if nothing happens:

The same happens on-device (iPhone 16 Pro on iOS 26)

Hmm, this is very weird and unwanted, can you try to clear the pods and reinstall them, maybe something was cached? pod deintegrate and then again pod install

Just gave it a shot, unfortunately it hasn't made any difference. Sorry I don't have more useful information 😅

There are two more steps that can help us identify the issue. First is to try another hls stream, maybe something is blocking you geographically? If that doesn't help, you can attach the debugger in initialize function in StreamerNode.cpp, that would tell us what exactly is failing.

I've tried other stream URLs, that also didn't make any difference. Also using the stream URL from the app works fine in my browser, so it doesn't seem like a geoblock.

@hassankhan you can try right now also the most recent version 0.8.2, we’ve found some bugs that can be related to your case.

I pulled the latest from main, no difference. I had a quick look at trying to set up the debugger, are you on the SWM Discord?
