Tackling slow page saves / updates in Flynt wordpress #605

Hey @chrislizardc I probably know what you mean but it might help to define "slow" a bit closer - how long does it take you to save the post? For me I can definitely confirm the same behaviour for pages/posts with lots of components, probably also specifically when having more fields in them. I don't know of any magic tricks to speed things up, but a good fast hosting can definitely help. We host on Kinsta for the more complex sites and that generally makes the admin experience work quite a bit quicker. Since Flynt uses an ACF Flexible Content Field as main "page editor" you could also search for issues around slowness for saving large datasets of that - it's probably the core issue here I would suppose. Please share should you find any generic improvement ideas. Aaron |

When having several components on a page (i do mean like around 20 no more) its slow to update, does anyone know any tips or tricks or anything to fix this ? It is very cumbersome that when i update any component in Worpdress it takes a very long time to Save/Update the page.
