Support for SVG / Vector Markers?

Hello, thanks for providing this amazing package. We'd love to be able to use our own svg or vector based marker similar to what is found here: https://developers.google.com/maps/documentation/javascript/examples/marker-symbol-custom

It is possible to use custom SVG marker, but requires a little effort on the user side. We are planning to add specific SVG Icon helpers to make it easy for the end user.
